Rayners Orchard, located in Victoria's famous wine-producing region of (Yarra Valley), is about 20 kilometers by car from Healesville, the core town of the valley, and about 60 kilometers from downtown Melbourne, the capital of Victoria.
Rayners Orchard is a family-run orchard with more than 450 species of fruit trees including peach, plum, pomegranate, fig, persimmon, kiwifruit, citrus and so on, making it the only year-round farm in the Yala Valley.
Rayners Orchard has a number of facilities and services, including:
- Peach Cafe: offers a variety of delicious country foods made from fresh local ingredients and sells a variety of fruit products including jam, canned, dried fruit, juice, fruit pie, fresh fruit, etc.
- Nursery: selling a variety of fruit tree seedlings;
- Orchard tour: ride on the tractor, enjoy the fruit heaven, taste all kinds of fresh and strange fruit;
- Fruit harvesting: pick your own fruit in the orchard and bring it home, with at least 8 kinds of fruit to pick every day;
- Fruit bottling workshop: learn how to can fruit, make your own cans and take them home, and buy canned tools. Book.
