Introduction of Cairns

Cairns is a coastal city on the northeast coast of Queensland. It is a famous tourist gateway city of the Great Barrier Reef (Great Barrier Reef) of the World Natural Heritage. It is a colorful and leisurely city surrounded by tropical rainforests. It has more than 2,000 kilometers of the world's largest living coral reef landscape, charming coastline, gem-like islands, silver beaches and blue sea.

The Cairns is located at the eastern base of the Cape York Peninsula (Cape York Peninsula), on the beach between the Coral Sea and the Great Divide Ridge, on the north side of the city by the San Trinity Bay, the city center by the San Trinity Waterway (Trinity Inlet), the Murgrave River (Mulgrave River) and the Barron River (Barron River) flow through the suburbs.

Prior to the arrival of the British colonists, native Mandingalbay Yidinji and Gimuy Walubara Yidinji had lived here for many years.
