Bridestowe Lavender Farm is located in the Nabowla region of northeast Tasmania, about 50 kilometers from Launceston, the second largest city in Tasmania, and 250 kilometers from Horbart, the capital of Tasmania.
Bridestowe Lavender Farm is a world-famous lavender garden, where lavender and other crops can easily survive because the farm is covered with fertile ash soil, with an average annual rainfall of 900ml and plenty of light. Make the environment here very favorable for the growth of lavender.
Lavender seeds were brought here from France at the beginning of the last century and are now nearly a century old. Every December lavender season, it is all over the mountains and fields are purple flowers.
The farm has commemorative gift shops and coffee shops, lavender food and delicacies for visitors, and a unique range of lavender products, especially the famous little lavender bear, which is the favorite of Chinese tourists.
