Colac is an inland return to Melbourne from Dayang Road (Great Ocean Road), a beautiful town on the road after all. Colac Botanic Gardens, located on the (Colac Lake) bank of Lake Colac in the heart of the town, covers 15 hectares, was built in 1868 and has a history of almost a century and a half. The garden plant variety is rich, the environment is beautiful, is the Colac small town resident's pride.
