Auburn Botanic Gardens

Chisholm Rd & Chiswick Rd, Auburn NSW 2144, Australia

Introduction of Auburn Botanic Gardens

The Auburn Botanic Gardens is located in Auburn (Auburn), the capital of New South Wales Sydney West, about 22 kilometers from downtown Sydney.

The Auburn Botanic Gardens, which covers an area of about 13 hectares and opened in 1977, is popular locally. The botanical gardens include wildlife parks, bird farms, rose gardens, rain forest parks and so on. Among the most famous are the botanical gardens: the japanese gardens (Japanese Gardens), especially the cherry blossoms.

As soon as you enter the botanical garden, you will see the Japanese red archway, wooden arch bridge, and stream water, and of course the 185 precious cherry trees. As the Sydney place is in the southern hemisphere, the cherry blossom season is in the middle and late August, the flowering period is usually two weeks. Every time cherry blossoms are in full bloom, the botanical gardens feature a special "cherry blossom festival ": they combine traditional japanese culture with modern culture, such as picnics under flower trees, kimono wear, sumo, flower, tympan, cosplay( animation reality show), hula hoop and japanese pop music show.

The beauty of Japanese gardens is not only reflected in spring and cherry blossoms, but also in the late autumn season (May of each year), some of the garden's deciduous trees will change colorful, beautiful scenery. At this time people will pour into the garden to meet the botanical garden held "golden autumn festival ".
