LuMi Bar and Dining is located in downtown Sydney, the capital of New South Wales, near Darling Port (Darling), near the beautiful Pilmont Bay (Pyrmont Bay).
LuMi Bar and Dining is one of Sydney's top restaurants, and the Sydney Herald Morning Guide, the food guide, awards Sydney and New South Wales the best restaurants every year, and presents one, two or three chefs' hats to the top of the list. Its meaning is similar to Michelin-starred, three hats are the highest honor, and LuMi Bar and Dining is one of the two hat restaurants selected in 2017.
LuMi means "small lamp" in Italian, and according to the theme, LuMi Bar and Dining creates a warm atmosphere. Italian chef Federico Zanellato is deeply influenced by Eastern cuisine, under the control of him and his wife, Michela, who serves as a barmaid. LuMi combines traditional Italian cuisine and Asian cuisine to provide easy, casual, yet delicate cuisine for diners. The taste menu ($115 per person) consists of eight dishes, including pickled snapper with sour orange juice and spaghetti with shrimp meat, in sharp contrast to the restaurant's simple European style, low-key and introverted.
