Located in Queensland's oldest tropical rain forest, about 110km north from Cairns, Mamu Tropical Skywalk is part of the World Natural Heritage: the humid Tropics of Queensland, (Wet Tropics of Queensland, 1988. It recounts the history of Australian Aborigines and rainforests, their ecological processes and the delicate relationship between human beings and nature is a tropical rainforest with a past, life and soul.
In 2008, the Australian government built Mamu Tropical Skywalk, visitors for A $10 million to explore the reach of the tropical rain forest on cantilever beams and elevated trails, and to enjoy the breathtaking view of the rainforest on Queensland's tallest viewing platform.
