Emerald Creek Falls is located on the eastern outskirts of Mareeba, a small town on the Atherton Plateau in (Atherton Tablelands), northeast Queensland, about 15 kilometers from Mareeba.
Located between granite boulders, Emerald Creek Falls has multiple cascading waterfalls, a walkway along the stream that will take visitors to numerous waterfalls and lagoon and access to high-rise lookouts. Overlooking the valley and the town of Mareeba, Emerald Creek Falls is ideal for picnics and has several first-class swimming pools.
