Yalumba

40 Eden Valley Rd, Angaston SA 5353, Australia

Introduction of Yalumba

Yalumba is located in Angaston, the town of (Barossa Valley), South Australia's most famous wine-producing region, about 85 kilometers from downtown Adelaide, the capital of South Australia.

Yalumba is one of Australia's oldest family wineries, founded in 1879 by Samuel Smith (Samuel Smith), a former British brewer who emigrated to Australia. He and his son bought a piece of land to grow grapes and named them Orlanburg, and the winery has been owned by the Smiths for more than a hundred years.

The most famous of Yalumba's wines is Movement 8, (Octavius), which is known as one of Australia's iconic sira wines. It is worth mentioning that Yalumba has been insisting on making its own oak barrels, making it one of the few wineries in the world to make its own oak barrels and the only one in Australia.
