Schubert Estate Wine

261 Roennfeldt Rd, Marananga SA 5355, Australia

Introduction of Schubert Estate Wine

Schubert Estate Wine is located on the western outskirts of the (Barossa Valley) town of Nuriootpa, a famous wine-producing area in South Australia, about 75 kilometers from Adelaide, the capital of South Australia.

In 1838, Clemzzi (Klemzig), the hometown of leave, the Schubert (Schubert) family in Germany, came to Australia and settled in the Barrosa Valley, South Australia. At the end of the 19 th century, descendants of the Schubert family began to grow grapes and named their locally owned winery "Schubert Estate Wine." For a century, the grapes produced by, Schubert Estate Wine are famous for their excellent quality in Barossa Valley and even throughout Australia. The grapes grown are mainly supplied to local famous wineries and have made immortal contributions to the local wine industry.

Steve Schubert, the current owner of Schubert EstateWine, inherited the whole winery from the Schubert family in early 1980, and over the next 40 years, Steve Schubert has evolved from grape planting to making and selling wine on its own. Because of its unique soil and excellent geographical location, Schubert EstateWine has a fine sense of export and outstanding quality, making Schubert EstateWine one of the five stars in Australia.

Schubert Estate Wine was first discovered by James Halliday in 2004. This first came when James accidentally tasted a 2002 bottle of Schubert Estate Wine Goose-Yard Block (Shiraz) dry red wine, after which James ordered Schubert Estate Wine2000 and 2001 other wines. It was Schubert Estate Wine's first wine order business, and James personally contacted Steve over the phone to learn about Schubert Estate Wine's vineyards and wine making. A few months later, the Schubert family was surprised to find that James's weekly wine review published an article called the humble Schubert prelude (Modest Schubert Divertissement) and awarded Schubert Goaksila dry red wine a high score of 96 points. James commented: "Max Schubert (Max Schubert) and Steve Schubert are not immediate family members, but I am sure he will also be shocked by Schubert Estate Wine's Silas red wine. With the smallest input, he achieved excellent quality, which is what Max Schubert sought when he created Grunch (Grange)." This article led wine lovers at the time to pay attention to Schubert Estate Wine, which also transformed Schubert Estate Wine from a family-supplied winery to an Australian boutique winery. In the same year, Schubert Estate Wine was selected as the best new winery in James' 2005 Australian Wine Guide.

Schubert Estate Wine believes that any outstanding wine can not be separated from vineyards, and windy soil is the most important factor affecting vineyards. Vineyards have a mild winter, slow ripening season, through manual pruning and picking limit grape yield to ensure grape quality. The soil of the park is mainly gravel, schist and clay, and 16 hectares of vineyard are planted with Silas and Vioni (Viognier) varieties. In vineyards, wineries insist on using organic and natural products to manage vineyards in order to maintain the quality of land and improve soil conditions.

Although the wine produced by Schubert Estate Wine is small in production, it is of excellent quality. Many wines have won gold medals and high scores from wine critics in the international MUNDUSvini competitions in 2011 and 2012, such as The Gosling Shiraz won gold medals in the 2011 and 2012 international MUNDUSvini competitions. In addition, the winery released the The Gaggle series in response to (Gourmet Traveller Wine magazine) 's comments in gourmet Traveler Wine Magazine. Large bottles of wine were originally brewed to celebrate special moments for family members or friends.
