Introduction of Wilson Botanic Park

Wilson Botanic Park is located on the eastern outskirts of Victoria's capital, Melbourne, in (Berwick), about 45 kilometers from Melbourne.

Wilson Botanic Park covers an area of about 39 hectares, formerly a quarry where the Wilson family have been operating since 1859. In 1976, they donated the land to the community, and then in 1988, The local government decided to redevelop the site as a botanical garden, which was officially opened to the public in April 1992.

Wilson Botanic Park is leafy and beautiful, with two man-made lakes in the park, the larger one called the Anniversary Memorial Lake (Anniversary Lake), the smaller one called Xuanwu Lake (Basalt Lake), the remains of the two lakes' jazz quarries. This viewing platform (Ben') S Lookout) and (Hoo Lookout) are the heights of the botanical garden, overlooking the park's panoramic view and the surrounding suburbs. The park features a visitor information center, an amphitheater, a playground, an education room, a birdcage, and a picnic barbecue area. Pavilions and other facilities, the weekend is a good place to pick up green and leisure stroll.
