Langford Island

Langford Island, Whitsundays QLD 4802, Australia

Introduction of Langford Island

Langford Island is one of the 74 islands of the Holy Spirit Islands (Whitsundays) off the eastern coast of Queensland and belongs to the famous World Natural Heritage Great Barrier Reef (Great Barrier Reef), on the west side of (Hook Island) Hook Island.

Langford Island is a small mini-island with no permanent population, a popular diving site for divers, and an ideal place for picnics, sunbathing, swimming and snorkeling.

Langford Island has a slender Tsim Sha Tsui that extends hundreds of meters at low tide, ideal for beach picnics, swimming and sunbathing, but can be submerged in high tide. There are very good diving sites at the northwest end of the beach, fun labyrinths for divers to explore on the sporadic reef tops, and shallow walls in the east of the beach. The waters here have a fascinating ecosystem, and most fish are small but rich in species.
