Luncheon Bay

Coastal Waters Of Great Barrier Reefs, Whitsundays QLD 4802, Australia

Introduction of Luncheon Bay

Located in the north of (Hook Island), Hook Island, Luncheon Bay is one of the diving resorts of the Holy Spirit Islands (Whitsundays), with primitive corals and beautiful and rich marine life.

Hook Island, one of the 74 islands of the Holy Spirit Islands, is part of the famous World Natural Heritage Great Barrier Reef (Great Barrier Reef), which covers an area of about 55 square kilometers.

Luncheon Bay's terrain is relatively flat, extending from the beach down to about 10 meters underwater, so it is popular with beginners diving.

The depth of Luncheon Bay diving is between 3 m and 15 m, the underwater visibility is about 5 m, and the beautiful shallow coral layer is located between 8 m and 10 m. There are a number of excellent diving channels for lung divers, and there is a beautiful underwater canyon known as the "couple tunnel". Here you can easily see clowns, manta rays and turtles, as well as large fish such as gargles, scales and red groupers.
