Cape Nelson Lighthouse is located on the southwest coast of Victoria, the southernmost tip of (Cape Nelson State Park), Cape Nelson State Park, about 10 kilometers from the coastal town of Portland.

The Cape Nelson Lighthouse, built in 1884, is one of Australia's most iconic lighthouses.

Cape Nelson Lighthouse is full of rich navigation history. To date, there is still a ship lighting for the nearby navigation, just because the full-automatic control is realized without the need for manual control, and the house used for the staff to live under the lighthouse is now the museum of the lighthouse for free visit to the visitors.

Cape Nelson Lighthouse is open to the public, in addition to enjoying the beautiful scenery in the vicinity of the lighthouse, as well as a guide-led landing service; in addition, the lighthouse provides a residential service, modern facilities such as a shower, a liquid crystal television, a DVD player, and a modern facility in which the tower-based house has been modernised, and visitors can enjoy a wonderful experience of listening to the surf at a quiet night.
