Obelisk Beach is located on the northern shore of (Sydney Harbour), the capital of New South Wales, on the northern shore of Mosman (Mosman), about 10 kilometers from the city of Sydney.
Obelisk Beach is one of Sydney's four legitimate celestial beaches (naked beaches), the other three of which are: (Werrong Beach), Beach, (Lady Bay Beach), Shoemaker Beach, (Cobblers Beach).
Obelisk Beach lies between (Middle Head), the middle of two former cityguard strongholds in Sydney, and (Georges Head), George's head, and echoes (Lady Bay Beach), the sister's beach in (South Head), on the other side of the coast. Obelisk Beach is named for having an obelisk on the hillside of its back bay. The beach is about 100 metres long, with two sides surrounded by protruding headlands in a semicircular arc, with golden beaches in the middle, reefs in the north, shrubby hills on the back, and calm winds in the east. White sail, golden waterway, Jackson harbor, (Port Jackson).
Due to its elegant and quiet location, Obelisk Beach has become a paradise for artists and swimmers. The famous artist Herbert Regina painted here in the early 20th century. After the 1970s, it was opened up as a naked beach and gradually evolved into a gay-dominated celestial bath.
Obelisk Beach is located in Mosman, a wealthy area where there are no train lines, and to Obelisk Beach, you can take the No. 244 bus from Carrington Street (outside the Wynyard railway station in downtown Sydney between George Avenue and York Road. Get off at the entrance to a military control zone in the middle and go down the right-hand side of the seaside path to see the Obelisk Beach sign.
