Bondi Beach

Bondi Beach is said to be named after a legendary surfer Bondi, located on the east coast of the capital Sydney New South Wales, about 10 kilometers from downtown.

Bondi Beach is one of the most famous beaches in Australia and the world. The beach is 1.5 kilometers long and arcuate. Along the coastal road, there are various restaurants, coffee shops, surf shops and souvenir shops.

The Bondi Beach is facing the Pacific Ocean with soft sand and emerald water, and it is not suitable for swimming. It is one of the two major surfing resorts in New South Wales. It is also Australia's traditional surfing life-saving training base. On summer weekends, there are all kinds of surfing activities, athletes perform in turn, and informal East teams sing loudly on the shore.

Public transport:

• Take bus 333 from Circular wharf to get off near Campbell Pde Near Hall St and walk to Bondi Beach; in about 1 minute
• Take train from other places to Bondi Hub (Bondi Junction Station), transfer to bus 333 or 380, and get off at the beach.
