Observatory Point Lookout is located on the western outskirts of Esperance, a seaport city on the south coast of Western Australia known as Australia's most beautiful coastline, about 10 kilometers from Esperance.
(Observatory Point), close to the observatory beach, is named after (Observatory Island), 1000 meters away from the observatory island, which is relatively high. Enjoy the magnificent view of the (Cape Le Grand National Park) coastline of Cape of Sea National Park across Esperance Bay (Esperance Bay). There is a monument to the observatory in honor of the explorers who escaped the storm in 1792. Walk down the beach through a slightly steeper step and watch out for nearby waters, where whales often swim between June and October.
