The State Theatre is located on (Market Street) Market Street, downtown Sydney, the capital of New South Wales, near (George Street)., Sydney's busiest George Street.
The State Theatre is an old theatre to be included in the New South Wales historic heritage, offering film screening, on-site theatre and music performances, and has been the home of the Sydney Film Festival since 1974. Even if it's not a show, it's a great time to walk around here. It's the first feeling of entering the State Theatre, and walking in the building of the Gothic, Italian, and decorative art-style buildings, as if there was a feeling of being in a luxury palace. The performance is in no way restricted, from the concert, the ballet to the Scottish bagpipes and even the Shaolin kungfu.
