Scotland Island

Scotland Island NSW 2105, Australia

Introduction of Scotland Island

Scotland Island is an island in (Pittwater), on the northern outskirts of Sydney, New South Wales, about 35 kilometers by car from the heart of Sydney and covering an area of about 45 hectares.

To the east of Scotland Island is Newport, to the west, to the Kulinggai hunting ground National Park (to the south of Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park), to the Church Point, to the land ferry, also to the south, to Church Point Wharf., to the south). Most of the island is covered by forest, with the highest point about 120 meters above sea level.

Scotland Island is not a traditional tourist attraction, it is a residential island, it does not have the kind of stunning and special attractions, the island has a permanent population of about 1000 people, and there are few tourists during the day. There are no shops or restaurants on the island, there are some family hotels, the way to vacation here is to rent a beautiful cabin, listen to the waves, away from the rest of the world for a leisurely vacation.
