Newport Beach is located in (Newport), on the northeast outskirts of Sydney, the capital of New South Wales, about 30 kilometers from the city of Sydney.
Newport Beach is about 1 km long, and the towering cliffs on both sides insulate the beautiful beach from the noise, and even during the peak season, there will not be too many tourists on the beach. The beach's parking lot is located behind the Newport Surfing Lifetime Club, (Newport Surf Life Saving Club), with a passageway to the beach. Newport Beach is suitable for family travel, running or walking, as well as a large area of grass that plays Frisbee and football. There will be lifeguards nearby during the summer days.
Newport Beach has a broad, flat rock platform on which the full-size Newport Rock Swimming Pool (Newport Rockpool) is a symbol of the northern beach of Sydney and was once the favorite of famous Australian photographer Max Dupain from the 1930s to 1950s.
