The Museum of Old and New Art (Museum of Old and New Art, Museum of New and Old Art, or MONA, is located north of Horbart, Tasmania, on the banks of the Devon River.
Museum of Old and New Art, Australia's largest private museum, was officially opened to the public in 2011, exhibiting millionaire David Walsh's private collection. The museum building built on the riverbank highlands is itself a work of art, and the hall enters the ground through an elevator and can directly see the longitudinally cut rock strata without any windows. Experience the atmosphere of modern abstract art in a closed city atmosphere. The Mona Museum also has its own festivals, MONA FOMA in January and Dark MOFO, in winter, which book ferries and buses at the Hobart urban terminal.
