The town of Uluru-Kata Tjua National Park, which is located in the southern part of the Northern Territory, is not far from Kata Tjua. The Walpa Gorge is a V-shaped Grand Canyon and the two sides of the valley are huge red rocks.
Walpa Gorge is popular with hikers, looking for unusual rock strata, exploring ancient history, exploring vigorous plants in the canyon, and experiencing the craftsmanship of nature against the blue sky and white clouds and green tree red soil.
