Built in the heart of Perth in 1845, Old Perth Boys School was built by prisoners' labourers. The two-story black-colored brick building was transported by ferry from (Swan River), the Swan River, to make the heritage building more elegant. Charismatic. Architectural design is full of ecclesiastical style. 1868 added expanded architecture, as we see today.
After a golden boom, the school moved to a new building on James Street north of the railway in 1880. The old site of the school became the library of the new Institute of Technology, which later became the National Trust and is now a coffee shop. And the sale of a series of literature materials.
