Independent skilled immigrants from Australia: spouse bonus requirements and conditions

The basic requirements for an independent skilled immigrant 189 visa under the new Australian immigration policy to obtain a spouse bonus are as follows: 1. Under 50 years of age 2. The nominating profession and the principal applicant are on the same SOL 3. The IELTS item is no less than 64. Spouse is not an Australian citizen or permanent resident 5. In the same application as the principal applicant, the new Immigration Act, which entered into force on 1 July 2012, deals with the spouse sub-section: Part 6D.11 Partner skill qualifications Item Qualification Number of points 6D111 The spouse or de facto partner of the applicant (the primary applicant): (a) is An applicant for the same subclass of visa as the primary applicant; And (b) is not an Australian permanent resident or an Australian citizen; and (c) was under 50 at the time the invitation to apply for the visa was issued to the primary applicant; And (d) at the time of invitation to apply for the visa, nominated a skilled occupation, being an occupation specified by the Minister under paragraph 1.15I (1) (a) at that time; And (e) at the time of invitation to apply for the visa, had been assessed by the relevant assessing authority for the nominated skilled occupation as having suitable skills for the occupation; and (f) at the time of invitation to apply for the visa, had competent English and above are all requirements for spouse points in 189190 and 489. As you can see, there is no requirement to graduate within 6 months or one year of working experience. In a nutshell, the main requirement for a spouse's bonus is to satisfy the following two conditions: 1. 4 6 IELTS results; 2. Pass an occupational assessment of a profession on the list of occupations (see previous English immigration regulations for other requirements such as age)
