187 Visa brief

Visa 187 can be applied both at home and abroad. It is a combined 119 and 857 visa. The employer-sponsored immigration program is part of a remote area in Australia.

The transition to permanent residence category (Temporary Residence Transition stream), applies to applicants who already hold a 457 visa for a nominated occupation, who have worked for the current employer for more than two years, and whose employer intends to provide a permanent position;

Direct application for permanent residence category (Direct Entry stream), applies to applicants who have never or temporarily worked in Australia and do not hold a 457 visa for only two years;

The labor contract category (Agreement stream), applies to applicants who obtain employer guarantees through labour agreements or regional immigration agreements.

Applicants first submit EOI; in the SkillSelect system

If you are nominated by the employer, the applicant will be required to submit the application online within 6 months and pay an application fee of 3060 Australian dollars at the same time.

Relevant support materials need to be submitted with the online application. For the required materials, please refer to the 187 visa application list;

The application may include spouses and children. If your spouse or your 18-year-old child, IELTS, does not reach the total score of 4.5, you will need to pay an additional 4250 Australian dollars for language study;

The applicant needs to have a medical examination, and the accompanying members over the age of 16 need no criminal certificate;

The applicant's work and personal information changes in the process of visa processing should be notified to the Immigration Board in a timely manner.
