187 exemption from visa English level
An applicant for an employer-sponsored immigrant must provide valid evidence that his or her English proficiency meets the relevant requirements, as shown in the following manner.
- Application for direct transfer to permanent residence through a 187 visa required to meet the maximum wage standard set by the Australian Inland Revenue Authority (the current standard is 180001 Australian dollars);
- At least five years of full-time studies were completed in English-speaking high schools or institutions of higher learning through applications for permanent residency (457 trans-187).
