Newstead House is a historic building, built in 1846, Georgian-style manor is one of the oldest buildings in Brisbane, in 1867 was a major renovation and expansion. Now that Newstead House has been transformed into a museum, the exterior buildings and interior decor of the house reflect the life of Victorian locals and are an important part of the history of Brisbane.
