Introduction of Melbourne Airport

Melbourne Airport is located in Melbourne northwest suburb of the state capital of victoria, taylor ma lin (Tullamarine), so also known as taylor ma lin airport (Tullamarine Airport), about 20 kilometers from downtown Melbourne.

Melbourne Airport has several direct routes to all Australian capitals, major continents, Asia, Africa, Europe, North America and South America. Melbourne Airport is the hub airport of Australia Airlines, Virgin Blue Airlines, Xinfeng Tiger Airlines.

Terminal:

Melbourne Airport has four terminals, australian airways and its subsidiaries jetstar use terminal 1; terminal 2 for international flights; terminal 3 for virgin blue air use terminal 4 for cheap air australia tiger, four terminals a total of 56 gate gates. In 2012, the airport dismantled its old terminal 4, which it once owned, building a new large-capacity terminal, while terminal 1, together with terminal 2, provided international terminal operations and added two new runways.


Transport support:

The Melbourne Airport is connected by the Tullamarine Freeway through the toll-highway company CityLink direct to the urban area of the Melbourne, with two road entrances near the airport terminal and the air cargo terminal respectively. The airport has five 24-hour fee parking lots. There are short-term and commercial parking spaces in the multi-storey indoor parking area and long-term parking spaces in the open parking area. The existing multi-storey car park has been expanded many times since 1999 to replace the existing ground parking.

the airport bus (Skybus) is the main means of transportation to the airport. it takes about 22 minutes for passengers to travel from the airport to the southern cross station in the Melbourne commercial center. The ticket was $19 for adults in August 2017. Apart from the airport bus, there are three bus routes using the Myki toll system to Matthew Street, Airport West Station, where passengers can transfer to No .59 tramway to the urban area, lines 478,479 and 482 respectively. The terminal at the other end of Road 479 is the Sanbury Station, where passengers can transfer v-line to Bendigo (Bendigo), Ichuka (Echuca) and Swanhill (Swan Hill). Since the end of 2010, bus routes from Melbourne Airport to Frankston have SmartBus been opened.

Nine other bus companies provide bus services to Barareth (Ballarat), Bendigo (Bendigo), Dandernon (Dandenong), Franksden (Frankston), Monington Peninsula (Mornington Peninsula), Gillan (Geelong), the outskirts of Melbourne and Sheperton (Shepparton). Passengers do not need to transfer V/Line trains to the above towns.
