Introduction of Bendigo

Bendigo is located inland in central Victoria, about 150km from Melbourne, the capital of Victoria, and is the fourth largest city in Victoria.

Bendigo has a long history rare in Australia, simple and quiet, can not see the prosperity and hustle and bustle of any modern city, many times suddenly isolated from the modern, no fast-paced life and work pace, and rare nightly neon. Bendigo is pregnant with talented craftsmen, carefully guarded by beautiful historical buildings, and has the most famous art gallery in Victoria. Bendigo has no wide streets, but its buildings are historical and multicultural, with small shops run by Indians, Malaysians, Chinese, French and Italian.

As a legacy of the gold rush, Bendigo has many ornate, Victorian colonial buildings that provide Bendigo with a "French" style, including the Bendigo Municipal Building, the post office, the court, and so on. These buildings are the style of the second Empire of France and are properly protected by the city government. Bendigo's Holy Heart Cathedral, Australia's third largest cathedral, is a sandstone building. its main building was built from 1896 to 1908, and the clock tower was completed in 1954 and 1977, respectively. Bendigo's Temple is a temple built by Chinese miners in the 1860s. It is the only building in Victoria that has been preserved and is still used as a temple today. Rosalind Park (Rosalind Park), located next to the city center, is a Victorian park with sculptures and a granite viaduct. In addition, there are gold mines in the past, as well as modern technology museums and trams museums.

In early November, (Bendigo Blues & Roots Music Festival), Bendigo's grass root music festival in blues, is the largest national music festival in the southern hemisphere, attracting participants from all over Australia and around the world.
