d'Arenberg

Osborn Rd, McLaren Vale SA 5171, Australia

Introduction of d'Arenberg

D'Arenberg is located in McLaren Valley, a famous wine producing area in South Australia. (McLaren Vale), is about 40 kilometers from Adelaide, the capital of South Australia.

D'Arenberg is a famous winery, not only has been repeatedly rated as an Australian five-star winery, its wine in the famous Lanton rating (Langton's Classification of Australian wine) is also a frequent visitor. D'Arenberg is a family winery founded in 1912 by Joseph Osborne (Joseph Osborn). The current owner is Chester Osborne (Chester Osborn)., the fourth generation of the Osborne family.

D'Arenberg has two vineyards in the Milamentville Valley, covering a total area of 197.2 hectares. Although wineries throughout the Merlenville Valley are popular today to buy grapes from other vineyards, d'Arenberg still insists on growing and brewing on its own. In addition to a single wine, the winery also produces Rhone Valley mixed wine (Rhone Blend) and a variety of other unique mixes, but the most typical wine is Cabernet Sauvignon (Cabernet Sauvignon), the most typical of which is Sierra (Shiraz), Cabernet Sauvignon (Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Sauvignon). A single tasting of wine made by Gohanna (Grenache) and Chardonnay (Chardonnay).

The winery produces 270000 cases of wine a year, with both good and cheap products and expensive lines. One of the most famous is the Dead Arm series. "Dead Arm" literally means "arm of death", a name used by winery owners to jokingly refer to old vines infected with fungi, some of which are unable to grow grapes, just like a broken arm, while the other half of the uninfected continue to grow unaffected, and the grapes are more fruity and the wine is stronger.

The newly completed Deborough Rubik's Cube (The d'Arenberg Cube) in 2017 is located in the center of the winery. The unique five-story building includes a brand new wine tasting room, several bars of different styles, a restaurant, a private wine tasting room, office space and art space. Delenburg Rubik's Cube has a strange shape, just as its name is like a Rubik's Cube, such a fashion building full of post-modern art stands in the ancient vineyard, but there is no sense of discord, it also makes the ancient winery radiate a new life, but also makes d'Arenberg a new online celebrity landmark in Adelaide.

In 2017, Chinese star Huang Xiaoming, as South Australia's "Global Tourism Image Ambassador," filmed a set of promotional films for South Australia, including famous tourist destinations such as (Adelaide Oval), (Cleland Wildlife Park), Adelaide Oval Stadium, (Kangaroo Island), Kleyland Wildlife Park, kangaroo Island. D'Arenberg is also among them.
