Budderoo National Park

Budderoo National Park is located in Iravara, southeast of New South Wales, about 130km from Sydney, the capital of New South Wales, and about 50km from (Wollongong), the third largest city in New South Wales.

BudderooNational Park covers an area of 7219 hectares(72.19 km2), and the Minnamura Rainforest and Carrington Falls are the most famous signs of Budderoo National Park.

Carrington Falls is spectacular, flying 50 meters down into the kangaroo valley canyon, near the waterfall with high-quality footway and several viewing platforms (Lookout), and a path for the disabled, the circular walkway takes 25 minutes to walk.

The Minamra rainforest center, (Minnamurra Rainforest Centre), is the entrance to the national park and the tourist center, which has two landscape walkways:

• Loop Walk: It takes about 45 minutes to walk a full 1.6-kilometer walk through various types of rainforest;
• The waterfall trail (Falls Walk): is about 2.6km round trip and takes about 1.5 hours to walk, making it more challenging to safely get to the edge of the canyon cliff in Shangmin Ramula Falls (Upper Minnamurra Falls).

Geographical location:

• (Jamberoo) is the nearest town from the center of Minamra rainforest, about 5 kilometers away, while the famous vacation town Kiama is about 15 kilometers from the center of Minamra rainforest.
• Robertson (Robertson) is the nearest town to Carrington Falls, about 10 kilometers away.
