Somersby Falls

Somersby Falls Walking Track, Somersby NSW 2250, Australia

Introduction of Somersby Falls

Somersby Falls (Somersby Fall) is located on the western outskirts of (Gosford) in Central Coast, New South Wales, about 70 kilometers south of Sydney, the capital of New South Wales, and 95 kilometers north of (Newcastle), the second largest city in New South Wales.

Somersby Falls is a small waterfall, and the picnic area next to the waterfall is an ideal place to escape from daily life. It is a good place for picnics, with free barbecue facilities and picnic tables, and plenty of space to put their carpets and chairs. Whether it is a picnic in the far end of the parking lot in the shade of trees, or in front of the waterfall next to the flood stream, there will be beautiful wild birds flying around. Also pay attention to hard-working turkeys that may be keen to share lunch with you. Enjoy delicious food in the lush rainforest, feeling more than a million miles away, but actually close to home.

You can also try the Somersby Falls trail, round trip about 500m, through the beautiful rainforest, you can see the top and bottom of the waterfall.
