Introduction of Newcastle

Newcastle is a coastal city located in the hunter area (Hunter Region) on the east coast of new south wales, about 160 kilometers from the capital of new south wales Sydney with a permanent population of over 400,000, the second largest city in new south wales and the seventh largest city in australia.

Newcastle four seasons sea breeze blowing, warm winter and cool summer, pleasant climate. Rich in tourism resources, with rich history, culture and unique traditions, and beautiful natural landscape, it attracts thousands of tourists from all over the world every year, making it one of Australia's most popular tourist cities. The southern suburbs of Newcastle have Australia's largest coastal lake: Lake McGuire (Lake Macquarie), the surf-famous port of Stephens (Port Stephens) in the north, and the 100-year-old Huntsman Valley (Hunter Valley) in the west, one of Australia's three major wine-producing regions.

The Newcastle University (University of Newcastle), founded in 1965, is one of Australia's most famous universities. In addition, Newcastle port is the world's largest coal export wharf, coal exports account for more than 90% of the port tonnage throughput, processing more than 100,000 tons of coal per year.
