Royal Melbourne Show is the annual event of Melbourne, the capital of Victoria, which integrates agricultural trade, food and pleasure. It is organized by (Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria) of the Royal Victorian Agricultural Association and is held every September at the Melbourne Exhibition Hall (Melbourne Showgrounds).
The first Royal Melbourne Show was held in 1848 and, like the Sydney Royal Easter Show, was designed to bring agricultural and sideline products to the city.
