Cadmans Cottage is located in Sydney, the capital of New South Wales, next to (George Street) George Street in the ancient rock area of (The Rocks).
Founded in 1816, Cadmans Cottage is said to be the second residential building with the oldest history in Sydney and the oldest existing building in Sydney. It was listed as the historical heritage of New South Wales in 1999.
Cadmans Cottage, named for John Cadman, was exiled to Sydney by British government for horse theft and later pardoned for becoming a professional helmsman.
