Standley Chasm is located in a remote inland area south of the Northern Territory, about 50 kilometers from (Alice Springs), the second largest city in the Northern Territory.
Standley Chasm is the territory of the local indigenous people and one of the holiest places they consider to be. Standley Chasm is privately owned, needs to buy tickets, has a shopping pavilion, can buy lunch and cold drinks, enter the Rift Valley in the morning or evening, and see small animals moving in the Rift Valley.
