Anzac Hill

Alice Springs NT 0870, Australia

Introduction of Anzac Hill

Located in the downtown area of Alice Springs, a small inland town in the central part of the Northern Territory, Anzac Hill is the landmark with the largest number of Alice Springs visitors, the ideal place to enjoy the entire Alice Springs scenery, and the panoramic view of Alice Springs at the observation platform, as well as the beautiful scenery of the surrounding range. The scenery at sunset should not be missed. At the top of the hill, watching the sunset fall slowly at Macdonald range, watching the hustle and bustle of rural towns under your feet, enjoying the feeling of a distant world.

The Anzac Hill Monument on Anzac Hill Peak was unveiled on April 25, 1934 (one of the most important festivals in Australia and New Zealand: Australian and New Zealand Legion Day, ANZAC Day), was originally dedicated to soldiers who gave their precious lives during World War I. And now it's a monument to all the martyrs who have spent their lives defending their country in all the wars in Australia.
