White Rabbit Gallery

30 Balfour St, Chippendale NSW 2008, Australia

Introduction of White Rabbit Gallery

White Rabbit Gallery, located in the southern suburb of Sydney, the capital of New South Wales, is about 10 minutes' walk from (The University of Sydney), the University of Sydney, on a very modest building in Balfour St, just behind the central Park Mall (Central Park Mall). However, it is a good place to eat, drink and play, and it is well known among the young people of Sydney literature and art.

White Rabbit Gallery is a private gallery, free of charge, exhibits original Chinese contemporary art, is a window of Chinese art in Australia, the gallery is not big, you can browse it in less than an hour. There is also a small tea room for rest.

White Rabbit Gallery is well known in the Australian community of local artists, and the origins of galleries seem to be accidental: Kernilson (Kerr Neilson) is Sydney's famous investment manager and Australia's richest man. His wife, Judith Nelson (Judith Neilson), likes art as much as any rich wife. In the early 1990s, her private art teacher, Wang Zhiyuan, happened to be a Chinese painter in Australia, sparking her interest in Chinese contemporary art. Since then, the couple began collecting works by contemporary Chinese artists, White Rabbit Gallery, which was officially established in 2009, and is now becoming the world's most influential private gallery dedicated to contemporary Chinese art.
