National Carillon is an island on Lake Griffin (Lake Burley Griffin) in the capital territory Canberra downtown.
National Carillon island is called Aspen Island (Aspen Island), about 250 meters long north and south, about 80 meters wide east and west, through a pedestrian bridge to the north bank of Lake Burleigh Griffin, the entrance to the bridge has a parking lot, visitors can walk to the foot of the bell tower.
National Carillon 50 meters high, is a gift from the British government to the Commonwealth of Australia. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Canberra becoming the capital of Australia, Queen Elizabeth II officially opened in 1970.

Furthermore, a set of 55-clock clocks, each weighing from 7 kg to 6 tons, National Carillon often performed in the clock tower. The best place to listen to bells is within 100 meters of the clock tower, but usually the bells can reach the parliament triangle and civic center (Civic). Each side of the clock tower is lined with quartz and Aopao (Opal). When the evening lights are lit, the outer wall of the clock tower sparkles in the night light, making it more beautiful.
National Carillon is of great significance to both domestic residents and foreign tourists and is the best place to celebrate Australia's National Day (Australia Day) and other traditional festivals every year.
