Rocky Creek Dam is located in the Dunoon region of northeast New South Wales, about 25 kilometers from Lismore, a major town on the north shore of New South Wales.
Rocky Creek Dam, built in 1949 with Lake Loki (Rocky Lake), was 28 m high and 220 m long in 1953, belonging to a small dam, mainly used downstream for Lismore, Balina (Ballina), Byron Bay (Byron Bay), Cape Evans (Evans Head), Towns such as (Alstonville) in Orstonville provide water for life. Rocky Creek Dam is surrounded by lakes and mountains, beautiful scenery, facilities such as walkways, picnics and barbecues, and wild animals walking around the dam. It is a favorite leisure place for the local people.
