Perth Observatory, Australia's oldest professional observatory and first-class astronomical institution, has served for more than 120 years and is still in operation because of its scientific, cultural and historical significance. Perth Observatory was included in Western Australia's historical heritage in 2005.
Perth Observatory is open to the outside world, providing tours and public education services. Visitors can attend events including night star cluster, day tour, astronomical studio and astronomical activity night. Book in advance.
