Introduction of Tulip Time Festival

Tulip Time Festival is the largest town in the southwest highlands (Southern Highlands) of new south wales Bowral an annual festival held every year from the end of september to the beginning of october.

Founded in 1960, Tulip Time Festival has been held for more than half a century, one of Australia's oldest and most popular flower festivals, attracting thousands of visitors every year. The Cobert Garden (Corbett Gardens), located in the center of the town, is the main venue for the Tulip Festival, planting tulips of various varieties, dizzying; In addition, dozens of private gardens are distributed in Bowral and surrounding towns such as Moswell (Moss Vale) and Mitagon (Mittagong), more scattered.

The festival also featured a variety of musical performances, food stalls, and a float parade on the Bong Bong Street of Bowral main street.

How to arrive:

  • Self-driving: Bowral is about 120 kilometers from the capital Sydney of the new state, driving about 1.5 hours;
  • train : can arrive directly from Sydney central Station (Central Station) on the Southern Highland Line (Southern Highlands Line) Bowral, one way takes about 2 hours, less frequency, preferably in advance.
