Mossman Gorge

212r Mossman Gorge Road, Mossman Gorge QLD 4873, Australia

Introduction of Mossman Gorge

Mossman Gorge is located in the south of (Daintree National Park) National Park on the northern coast of Queensland.

Mossman Gorge is an unmissed and picturesque part of the World Natural Heritage site (Wet Tropics of Queensland) in the humid tropics of Queensland assessed by UNESCO, and the natural and pure primitive rainforest style, which is not affected by human activities, makes people happy. Hanging figs and epiphytes flourish here, and the crystal clear Mosman River (Mossman River) picks up steps along granite boulders. Tourists can walk along the 400m long riverside roundabout, walk to the viewing platform on the Mosman River, look for bright blue Ulysses (Ulysses) butterflies and birds, or walk through the lush rainforest along a 2.7km long circular path. Learn about plants and how the local Kukuyalangui (Kuku Yalanji) makes use of them in traditional ways.

(Mossman Gorge Centre), the Mossman Gorge center, is the entrance to Mossman Gorge, about 5 kilometers from the town of (Mosman), and about 20 kilometers from (Port Douglas), one of the northern Queensland resorts.
