Wineglass Bay

Wineglass Bay, Tasmania, Australia

Introduction of Wineglass Bay

Wineglass Bay the fishina national park (Freycinet National Park) on the fishina peninsula (Freycinet Peninsula) on the east coast of tasmania, about 168 kilometers southwest from the state capital Horbart tasmania. named for its red wine cup shape, Wineglass Bay is one of tasmania's most popular resorts for tourists and locals, overlooking the crystal clear grand oyster bay (Great Oyster Bay), a paradise for swimming, diving, rubber boats, boating and fishing enthusiasts.

The 1999 american travel magazine Outside》 voted Wineglass Bay one of the world's top ten beaches, saying :" the beach and the tasman sea form a well-defined half-moon shape like a smiling face on the button pin button. I am alone in this vast expanse of sea and sky, feeling the wilderness, tranquility and greatness of natural landscape... ".

Comment on Travel Guide (2006) Wineglass Bay: "…… Where we see the most magnificent view of our lives... I often recall the good times when I was sitting there: the breeze was blowing, the waves were slapping my toes, and I stared in amazement at the clear blue water of the bay rushing towards the shore, where the silvery beach was as perfect as the edge of the glass. "

Tips:

  • Over the ridge of Mount Huxus (The Hazards), you can see Wineglass Bay amazing magnificent view. To walk to the Wineglass Bay, the short but steep mountain road between Mount Huxes needs to be conquered, and it takes 1 to 1.5 hours to walk to the Wineglass Bay overlooking table (Wineglass Bay Lookout);
  • The walk from the watchtower to Hazed Beach (Hazards Beach) across from the Wineglass Bay takes an extra 2-3 hours, seemingly an impossible task, but it is undoubtedly the most exciting part of the trip. After walking down the viewing platform, there will be a trail leading you through the middle of the park to the west side of the peninsula. This is the final destination when you see that the sea is so quiet that there is no ripple and a magnificent picture spread before your eyes;
