Spiky Bridge small town on the east coast of Tasmania Swansea about 8 kilometers south, is an ancient bridge built in 1843, built by prisoners that year.
Spiky Bridge used to be the only way from Hobart to Swansea, but since a new road was built, it has changed from a vehicle to a historic site.
Spiky Bridge is a stone bridge, the characteristics of the bridge on both sides of the high-lying stone, like a knife, this is the name of the bridge, said to prevent cattle and sheep when crossing the bridge fell.
