By the end of 2016, Australia had 19 common UNESCO World Heritage sites recognized by (UNESCO). As of 2015, the total number of properties ranked 14th in the world`s heritage rankings (Italy, China and Spain, in the top three, take part in the chart below). And with China side by side with the cultural and natural heritage of the largest number of countries (4).
