Tiwi Islands is located at the northernmost end of the Northern Territory, about 100km north of Darwin, the capital of the Northern Territory, at the junction of (Arafura Sea) in the Arafat Sea and (Timor Sea) in the Timor Sea. Tiwi Islands is made up of two large islands: (Melville Island), Bathester Island, Melville Island. And nine smaller uninhabited islands: Buchanan, (Buchanan Island), Harriss, (Harris Island), seagull, (Seagull Island), Casrek, (Karslake Island), Iritu, (Irritutu Island), (Clift Island), Tulina, (Turiturina Island),. Martingra, (Matingalia Island), (Nodlaw Island), of which Melville is Australia's second largest island except Tasmania.
