Located on the (Lake Burley Griffin) bank of Lake Griffin in the Grand Triangle of Congress, High Court of Australia is about 25 minutes' walk from the Capitol (Parliament House), in a garden-style neighborhood. The region also includes institutions and venues such as the (National Gallery of Australia), National Gallery of Australia's National Gallery, (National Portrait Gallery), National Library of Australia, and (National Library of Australia), the Australian National Library.
The High Court of Australia, officially inaugurated on May 26, 1980 and opened by Queen Elizabeth, is the highest judicial and adjudicative court of the Federal Government of Australia. Australia is a federal country, each province has an independent adjudication system, in order to avoid disputes, the High Court of Justice has the function of unifying the Australian legal system. The court has three courts, a six-story office area and a judge's office.
