Morgans Lookout

Lookout Road, Walla Walla NSW 2659, Australia

Introduction of Morgans Lookout

Morgans Lookout is located on the western outskirts of Culcairn, a small town in (Riverina region), southeast New South Wales, about 20 kilometers from Culcairn.

Morgans Lookout is a white granite boulder named after a notorious 1860s jungle gangster: Mad Dog Morgan (Mad Dog Morgan), who had been hiding from the Mad Dog Morgan for a long time. To escape the police chase, Morgan used the giant granite as a good place to look at nearby victims and police. Now that, Morgans Lookout is a popular picnic spot, visitors can climb the staircase to the top of the watchtower and enjoy the 360th-degree beauty of the surrounding countryside.

Visitors interested in Mad Dog Morgan's speckled demeanor can also visit a monument to two victims injured by the jungle gangster. The John McClane Monument at Carl Kahn, (John McLean Memorial), and the Smith Monument at (Henty), (Sgt Smyth Memorial).
