Hume Dam is located on the Murray River (Murray River) near Albury, a small town in southern New South Wales, about 15 kilometers from the city of Albury.
Hume Dam is one of Australia's most important dams, 1615 metres in length, 51 meters high and torrential. It took 17 years to build and was completed in 1936.
